लिम्फोमा (गाठींचा कर्करोग): मान, काख किंवा जांघेत न दुखणाऱ्या गाठी, ताप, रात्री घाम येणे व वजन कमी होणे ही लिम्फोमाची लक्षणे आहेत. बहुतेक लिम्फोमा उपचाराने पूर्ण बरे होतात किंवा दीर्घकाळ नियंत्रणात राहतात.
लिम्फोमा: गर्दन, बगल या जांघ में बिना दर्द की गांठें, बुखार, रात में पसीना और वज़न घटना लिम्फोमा के लक्षण हैं। ज़्यादातर लिम्फोमा इलाज से ठीक हो जाते हैं।
Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymph glands. There are two main groups – Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma – and many sub-types. Most lymphomas respond very well to treatment.
Warning signs
- Painless swelling of glands in the neck, armpit or groin
- Fever, drenching night sweats, weight loss
- Itching, tiredness, abdominal fullness
Glands are often treated as "TB" without a biopsy. Always get a biopsy of a persistent gland.
Diagnosis
Excision or core biopsy of the gland with immunohistochemistry, PET-CT scan, and bone marrow biopsy when needed.
Treatment
- Chemotherapy combinations (such as ABVD, R-CHOP) given as day care
- Rituximab and other antibodies
- Targeted tablets for selected lymphomas
- PET-CT to check response
- Transplant consultation for relapsed disease
